APPLE CIDER is our mainstay. PEAR CIDER is mild and sweet. BLACKPEARY CIDER is a rare treat.
CIDER BASICS
CIDER is pressed fresh every week at Hugus Fruit Farm in our state inspected facility on our rack-and-cloth cider press. We usually begin in early September and press every week as long as we have apples, often through January.
Our cider is treated with ultraviolet light, one of only two FDA approved processes for cider making. Unlike heat pasteurization, the UV process maintains the nutrition and fresh flavor of cider. NOTHING is added to our cider (no sugar, no water)
PURCHASING CIDER
- Hugus Fruit Farm Cider may be purchased in the following ways: * Retail at Hugus Fruit Farm by the gallon, half gallon, or quart.
- * Wholesale at Hugus Fruit Farm. Minimum purchase is 20 gallons. Call ahead for large quantities.
