Our Produce - What we grow
Keep all produce refrigerated! Fruit ripens 8-10 times faster at room temperature than in the refrigerator.
Cherries
We have a few trees of sweet and tart cherries that ripen in July. Look for these in our Farmers Market display.
Plums
There will be a few yellow plums, but the purple plums bloomed early and froze out in 2024.
Blackberries
Vine-ripened blackberries stain your fingers and surprise your tastebuds from late-July through mid-August.
Peaches
We pick tree-ripened and juicy, yellow and white peaches all throughout August. View the Peach Chart to see which ones may be in the ready-picked and pre-sorted baskets.
Nectarines
We have a few trees of smooth nectarines (for those who dislike the peach fuzz) that sneak into the salesroom in August.
Apples
Apples are our main crop. We grow twenty varieties that we pick August through October. Usually they are for sale through December. View the Apple Chart to see which varieties are available in the salesroom.
Asian Pears
These round pears are sweet like a pear and crunchy like an apple. A few varieties ripen in late August and one variety waits until October. View the Pear Chart to see which ones are ready in the salesroom.
